Is Cake Bad For Cats?

Yes, but it depends on your cat’s health. Cats are carnivorous and the nutrition that cats need is different from ours.

They must eat the kind of food that has protein to survive. Cakes do not provide any benefit or vitamin for your cat’s needs.

Although cakes contain some protein, there are just too many fats.  Cakes are made from flour, milk, and sugar so those ingredients are the major cause of your cat gaining weight and developing diabetes.

In addition, cakes also contain cream and butter which are toxic to them. Your cat might get sick as a result.

Finally, unless it is a special occasion, cakes shouldn’t be given to your cat as a treat. They won’t get damaged by a small bit a few times a year, but anything more than that can be harmful to your cat’s health.
