It is a part of the social bonding process between cat and owner, but people talk to cats in shorts in all different ways.

Cats take notice, when we use kind of high-pitched and slow speech to talk to actual babies. Baby talk is a natural instinct that stems from wanting to connect with cats on a deeper level.

A Better Understand: While you are talking much to them. You will start understanding what certain types of “Meows” mean. It helps you and your cat feel secure when you respond by providing whatever they are asking for like it is hungry.
